Club Shows:
The NFTCC aims to hold at least 6 Club Shows per year. Amongst these will definitely be a Northern, Midland and Southern Area Show to ensure that our members all over the country get a chance to exhibit at one of our shows.
New in 2011 was the Combined Stock Show. A show just for Fox, Tan and Otter varieties and a chance for our club members to meet and discuss our breeds with like minded people! it is aimed to have a combined stock show every 3 years as a special event in the show calendar.
The club has just launched it’s own ‘judging accreditation scheme’ where experienced members of the judging panel will tutor and support anyone wishing to learn more about the breeds in relation to the current breed standards, and in the hope that once passed those people will wiash to be considered for the priveledge of being adopted onto the NFTCC judging panel.
Annual Points Competition:
The club holds a yearly competition whereby points are awarded to placed cavies in breed classes at NFTCC Shows. The points are accumulated throughout the year and then a winner for each colour, for each breed is found.
There is also an overall Breed Points winner from points gained in the challenged of NFTCC shows to attain the Champion exhibitor for each breed each year.
Show Support:
NFTCC Members can also win prizes by showing their Foxes, Tans and Otters at local club shows throughout the year. To do this a exhibitors cavy must win a Pen Card, awarded to the Best Fox, Tan or Otter any local show. The exhibitor must then send their Pen Card into the Show Support Secretary in exchange for an award.

At the end of the year the Member with the highest number of Pen Cards claimed will win the competition for that year.
